How to Delete Your Data
You may request deletion of all data InsightHive has collected on your behalf at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Self-Service: Disconnect a Platform
To remove data associated with a single connected platform (e.g., Meta, YouTube, TikTok), revoke InsightHive's access from that platform's authorized-apps settings:
- Meta (Instagram & Facebook): Visit Settings & Privacy → Business Integrations and remove InsightHive.
- YouTube & Google Ads: Visit Google Account → Third-party apps with account access and revoke InsightHive's access.
Revoking access invalidates the OAuth tokens we store. Within 30 days, all data fetched on behalf of that platform connection is removed from our systems.
Full Account Deletion
To request deletion of your entire InsightHive account, including all platforms, analytics history, and any uploaded content, send an email to privacy@getinsighthive.com from the email address associated with your InsightHive account. Include the subject line:
Data Deletion Request
We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. Once complete, all of the following will be permanently erased:
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for all connected platforms
- Cached analytics and engagement data
- Content metadata, manual tags, and overrides
- Account profile and identifiers
Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days as required by our backup retention policy, after which it is fully purged.
