1. What We Collect
InsightHive collects the following data to provide its analytics and reporting services:
- Social media analytics data (views, likes, comments, watch time, and engagement metrics) from connected platforms
- OAuth access and refresh tokens used to authenticate with third-party APIs on your behalf
- Video and content metadata (titles, publish dates, durations) from your connected channels
- Advertising performance data (impressions, spend, CPM) from connected ad accounts
- Account identifiers such as brand IDs and platform-specific channel or account IDs
We do not collect personal information about your audience, and we do not access private messages or content that has not been explicitly authorized.
2. How We Use Your Data
All data collected through InsightHive is used exclusively for analytics and reporting purposes. Specifically, we use your data to:
- Display performance dashboards and content analytics within the platform
- Generate reports on video performance, audience engagement, and paid media results
- Automatically tag and classify content using AI-assisted categorization
- Sync data on a recurring schedule to keep your analytics up to date
We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the analytics services described above.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely in Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database platform hosted on servers located in the United States. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
4. Third-Party Services
InsightHive integrates with the following third-party platforms to retrieve analytics data. By connecting these accounts, you authorize InsightHive to access data through their respective APIs in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies:
- YouTube & Google Ads - video performance, audience retention, and paid campaign data via the YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API, YouTube Reporting API, and Google Ads API
- Meta (Instagram & Facebook) - post performance, reach, audience insights, and paid ad campaign data via the Instagram Graph API, Pages API, and Marketing API
- TikTok - video performance and engagement metrics via the TikTok Display and Marketing APIs
InsightHive is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these platforms. Data retrieved through their APIs is governed by their respective privacy policies.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. OAuth tokens are stored securely and refreshed automatically. Access to your data is limited to the services required to operate InsightHive.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To revoke InsightHive's access to a connected platform, remove the authorization from that platform's settings page. For all other data requests, contact us at the email below.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of InsightHive after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
